Meanwhile in Tasmania...
The last month of waves have been so fun, I've mainly surfed, but I have put the drone up in-between sessions and here is the result of that!

Fire at the Bluff, Shipstern lights up
Просмотров 57 тыс.2 месяца назад
Saturday April 6 was a pretty special day at the wave at the end of the road, at the bottom of the world. The crowd was thick but also super respectful. Some absolutely crazy rides went down as well as some of the heaviest beatings too. There was a lot of smoke in the air from forestry burn offs adding to the epic sunset. Super psyched with how this edit turned out. Hope you all enjoy and thank...

Dusty Rusty recorded the Garden for my latest Shippies edit… We shot two takes and here are both those takes cut together with the original sound from the first take. Joining Dusty on Piano is the wonderfully beautiful Sophie Dellaire, tapping away in the corner is the magnificent Drew McPherson and on the ground on electric guitar the humble and handsome Andre Smith…

As far as days at Shipstern go, Sunday the 28th of May, 2023 was one of the best. See what it's like to jump off the rocks on a 20 foot day. Enjoy the sweet original sounds of Dusty Rusty on the banjo. Try to imagine what some of these wipeouts feel like.... Yeeeowwwwww

I was fortunate enough to spend two weeks with the 2021 Aloha Award winner Chris Dennis on Namotu Island, Fiji. Chris won the award for the work he does for his NPO Waves for Hope in his home country of Trinidad. His prize was a week on Namotu, which turned into two weeks and $10,000 USD towards his NPO. This video is a brief highlight reel of his time on the island filmed and edited by yours t...

What a great vid. A pretty intense break but an absolute blast if they make it.
Never understood this sport. Just don’t get it.
No thanks,i like living 😂
Wow. Blown away by the whole video. Waves, surfing, scenery. Excellent
Thanks so much mate!!!! 💚⚡️🚀🌈🌊💔🐸
すげぇ😮世界で最もチャレンジングな凶暴な波の1つであるシップスターンにパドルで乗るとか😮半端ねぇ。。
Hey camera lady, you are as tough as they come jumping into that dark rough ocean
Keen to see some footage this swell now
good vid loved the song too
Really good to see the aerial and view of the rocks. It's a gnarly mutant wave for sure, but then you see what is on the other side too...Gives another perspective on the difficultly and how intimidating the spot really is. Great footage 😎
Yes!
You guys are mad as ! What's With the song
Best edit ever! So many different perspectives. Thank you!
Thanks man! Stoked you enjoyed it!!! 💚🌊⚡️
Great choice of music and the producer putting in some nice drone capture to enhance the viewers appreciation of the beauty raw nature of shipstern blended together for a visual and listening escape via our mobiles tabs or pc....nice one woot woot
Very well done surf video. Excellent photo work. Minimum yakking. Good waves. Nice tune. Thanks.
The camera work and production values are as lofty as the fearless human spirit that's on display from the surfers and support crew. Hopefully your wives and girlfriend's didn't have to wait too long... That water looked chilly!
This is actually really peaceful to watch. I like the chill music and hearing the ocean. such a good video thanks!
Great video. Most shipstern videos, you never see the entire surrounding area. I've often been curious about how it looks there, and you captured this perfectly. Thank you.
Holy crap...so surreal...so many of us will never experience such a sublime transcendental experience
Wild..
💥🙏🌊
Beefy for sure you would take a pounding if you step off the board a bit early Nice work on the vid
good way to try and inspire harbor relief and creature nursery's before surf sidewalks feel like enough wells fargo skill leveled. surfs up🌵

I surfed hard for 12 years, was certainly competent at my peak, but i would have never paddled out here. Respect and enjoyment to you.

Brilliantly filmed well done mate. Make more like this we'll all come back 🤙

Darling Regan, this is just delightful. You never cease to blow me away. Next time you come back this way, let me know, and I'll book front row seats. Fantastic ❤🎵🎶🪕🌈
such a confusing but very powerful wave. It's like a cross between shark island and the box in wa.
Survives huge waves, comes in gets killed by giant falling rock. 😂
Shipsterns is I think my favourite wave to watch, it’s just so gnarly with that little step but so pretty too. Great music choice for this video really captures the essence of this kind of surfing
Could call Shippies , Mutant.
Epic kyron lovely clip hope ya well mate!
The most mind-blowing session vid I've seen.
Dang it. That wave never looks the same. Whats on the bottom?
Big rocks!!!!
That’s a very very good bit of film making ! I managed to live in Tassie for 24 years and never surf the points they are quite something though
On par with Burnie Wedge mate! 😜 Hope ya well Tam, long time no sea!!! ⚡️
